sze collates profoundly ordinary materials to build ecosystems that collapse structure, film, and objects of everyday life (houseplants, office supplies, etc), often making the difference between the digital and physical indistinguishable. as i see it, sze walks the line between being the person on a pedestal and making the pedestal. metaphorically. incredibly rare and dually aspirational. sorry i can't be her.
